Diehards Line:NFL Network insider Adam Schefter reported earlier this week that Jones had cancelled the workout. That report clearly missed the mark. ... Jones apparently did a shuttle run on wet grass in 4.3 seconds, ran around cones and caught passes. "All the teams basically said they were amazed by what Kevin can do," Ping said. The fact that Detroit, the team who released Jones earlier this year, was among those in attendance is certainly interesting.
