The Facts:
The hype around Cain is not just some media-driven machine for a guy who flashed in training camp. Chris Ballard believes it. “We think Cain has great upside,” the GM said last week.
Diehards Line:
Andrew Luck believes that. “He showed some incredible flashes in training camp,” Luck said of Cain last week. “I certainly hope that he will come back stronger from his injury. I know he can. He has worked his butt off, so I’m excited for him.” And T.Y. Hilton believes it. “He came into training camp and he was killing it,” Hilton says of his fellow receiver. “He was balling. The sky is the limit for him. ...” Given what Cain did in college (he had 94 receiving yards in Clemson’s 2016 National Title victory and 20 touchdowns in just 3 seasons of playing), and what he showed in a few weeks of rraining vamp this past year has plenty of people eager to see what is in store for the soon-to-be second-year receiver. Coming off a torn ACL suffered early last August, Cain is targeting around August, or the start of the team’s 2019 training camp, for his return to the practice field.
