The Facts: We've heard from two different sources that the Raiders are willing to trade Porter, if an interested partner can be identified. One source said that the Raiders discreetly have been shopping Porter for several months. Teams that might be interested include the Eagles, Packers, Bears, Patriots, Jaguars, Saints, and 49ers.
Diehards Line:This seens to jibe with other recent reports out of Oakland hinting that Porter, who missed Tuesday's practice with a sore calf, isn't exactly enamored of Art Shell. In fact, ex-Raider Lincoln Kennedy said on a local radio show Porter wanted out of Oakland, citing Porter as the source. And Oakland Tribune beat man Jerry McDonald noted there have been reports of a heated argument between Shell and Porter, without actual confirmation of a blowup from either man. ... Stay tuned.
