The Facts: Bryant said he and quarterback Tony Romo will get together to throw some between now and the start of training camp in late July. "We've got a date next Saturday," Bryant said. "I shouldn't have told y'all that."
Diehards Line:Bryant hasn't been able to work in team drills and has been held out of most individual drills throughout the offseason as he works his way back from foot surgery in January. Bryant won't take part in team drills for the first time until training camp. The Cowboys' last offseason practice is Thursday. Bryant said not being able to work with Romo in team drills during the offseason won't affect their chemistry much. "I think it don't make a difference, but there is nothing wrong with knocking the rust off," Bryant said. Indeed, whatever rust they can knock off in advance of camp will be something fantasy owners appreciate come September.
