The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Broncos have informed Anderson they are matching Miami's offer sheet. He stays in Denver.
Diehards Line:
The four-year, $18 million offer sheet Anderson signed with Miami is well beyond the $2.553 million tender the Broncos could have used to keep Anderson as an restricted free agent. And while the Dolphins made the deal front-loaded to make it harder to match, the list of free agents to already leave in Denver left plenty of money to make up for the mistake of not tendering Anderson at a higher level. Whatever the case, Denver still has their running back. The Dolphins do not.
