The Facts: Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Brown will be turning in his cleats for dancing shoes on this season's Dancing With the Stars. He will be joined by Broncos LB Von Miller on the long-running show. The show is scheduled to kick off its new season on March 21 and the full cast for the show will be announced on Tuesday's Good Morning America.
Diehards Line:
As PFT's Josh Alper notes, the timing means that Brown could miss some of the offseason program if his moves earn him favor with the voting public. Brown and Miller join an elite group of NFL players who have competed on the popular show. Their appearances mark the 15th and 16th occasions that an NFL player has appeared on DWTS. Though, this is the first time that multiple players have appeared in a single season. The odds do bode well in their favor. Out of the 14 previous contestants, three former players have taken home the coveted mirror ball trophy: Emmitt Smith (2006), Hines Ward (2011) and Donald Driver (2012). The rest of the cast will be revealed Tuesday, March 8 on Good Morning America.
