The Facts: Jones will play Thursday, but his snaps will be tracked against the New Orleans Saints.
Diehards Line:NFL Network's Tiffany Blackmon reports that Jones will play Thursday night, but the Atlanta Falcons' staff will "monitor his pitch count," according to a team source. The Falcons source acknowledged that at this point in the season most players are banged up. "Look it's Week 6, everybody is beat up, sore," the source told Blackmon. "You may see him out there holding the hamstring, but Julio feels they've got something special going right now. They are 5-0 and want to pull as far away from the Saints as they can." The Falcons reportedly planned to monitor Jones' snap count in last week's win over the Washington Redskins. However, game flow dictated the Pro Bowl receiver stay on the field, seeing 73 of 80 snaps.
