The Facts: The Texans have already made their second quarterback switch of the young season. HC Bill O'Brien turned back to Week 1 starter Brian Hoyer after his team fell into a 42-0 hole late in the third quarter of Sunday's game versus the Atlanta Falcons. Mallett essentially left O'Brien with no other option.
Diehards Line:According to NFL.com's Chris Wesseling, the Texans' aerial "attack" featured no timing or run-after-catch element with Mallett at the helm. Mallett's playing style results in too many tight-window throws and deflected passes, not too mention a slew of scattershot misfires. Hoyer came in an led the team on a touchdown drive to make the score 42-7. Stay tuned. We'll be following up on this one, but assume Mallett remains the starter until we hear otherwise.
