The Facts: Palmer returned to 11-on-11 drills and one beat writer tracked the QB as 25-of-35 during his first 11-on-11 drills against live blitzing on Tuesday. "The training wheels are off," HC Bruce Arians said. "He's ready to roll."
Diehards Line:As NFL.com's Chris Wesseling suggested, the NFC should be on red alert now that Palmer has declared himself "100 percent" recovered from November ACL surgery. Since Palmer fully mastered Arians' offense in the middle of the 2013 season, he has been one of the league's most effective quarterbacks. Indeed, the Cardinals are a different team with Palmer in the lineup, winning 13 of 15 games over that span versus just five of 10 with Drew Stanton or Ryan Lindley under center. ... Meanwhile, it's worth noting that Palmer's chemistry with second-year speedster John Brown was readily apparent in Tuesday's practice. "I expect huge things from him this year," Palmer said of Brown, who added 10 pounds of muscle to his frame this offseason. "There is something different about him. ..." We'll go ahead and note that both are currently going fairly late in early mock drafting. It'll be interesting to see if their ADPs change as the hype builds in coming weeks.
