The Facts: The Cowboys knew Bryant missed practicing with his teammates more than they missed him being at Valley Ranch. As it turns out, he couldn’t stay away. Bryant participated in individual drills during Thursday’s organized team activity, according to a source. The All-Pro receiver did not do any team or group work.
Diehards Line:
Bryant still has not signed the franchise-tag tender, which guarantees him $12.823 million, in hopes of getting a long-term deal by the July 15 deadline. He has been working out on his own, with only a handful of appearances at Valley Ranch this off-season. The OTAs are voluntary, and Bryant, if he remains unsigned, he is not required to attend the team’s mandatory minicamp June 16-18. HC Jason Garrett told reporters on Wednesday that Bryant was in great shape and he wasn't concerned about Bryant's absence. Now it's a non-issue.
