The Facts: Lockette tweeted Tuesday that he is coming back to Seattle for another season, just hours before the start of free agency.
Diehards Line:
The 28-year-old was an exclusive rights free agent, but the Seahawks did not extend him a qualifying offer, making him an unrestricted free agent. Lockette has been a key special teams player over the last two seasons for Seattle, serving as a gunner on coverage teams. He had a career-high 11 catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns in 2014, his fourth NFL season since joining the league as an undrafted free agent out of Fort Valley State in 2011. Lockette was the target on Russell Wilson's ill-fated pass attempt Feb. 2 that was intercepted by New England's Malcolm Butler to clinch Super Bowl XLIX for the Patriots.
