The Facts: According to Yahoo! Sports' Charles Robinson, a league source tells him with the Jaguars likely to miss on targets Ndamukong Suh and DeMarco Murray -- and already losing out on Randall Cobb, Thomas will become a major priority.
Diehards Line:With over $62 million in cap space available when the signing period opens on Tuesday, the Jaguars are certain to be among the most active teams in free agency. Not only would the Jaguars like to sign someone like Thomas, it would enable them to release Marcedes Lewis, the nine-year veteran who has missed 13 games the last two years and who has but 27 touchdowns in his career. Plus the team would pick up an additional $6.8 million of cap money. The Jags won't be alone in their pursuit of Thomas, of course; the Raiders, Falcons and Seahawks have all been previously mentioned.
