Beckham wasn't on the practice field Monday because he was undergoing tests on his troublesome hamstring. He is expected to be sidelined at least another week. Beckham was oringially injured in OTAs and aggravated it during the first training camp practice this summer. Beckham hasn't practiced since last Tuesday. HC Tom Coughlin said on Sunday the Giants were more than a little disappointed in the situation. Coughlin would love to have his top pick on the field to get him acclimated in the new offense and prepared for the speed of the NFL. According to the Star-Ledger, the Giants have big plans for the speedy Beckham. They are hoping he can be a play-making receiver in their new West Coast-style offense that seems ideal for his skills. But he needs to get back to work -- the sooner, the better.
