The Facts: After undergoing neck surgery last season to fuse two vertebrae, Bradshaw had been reduced to spectator during recent practices. But those restrictions have now been lifted. "I got cleared Friday and started (practicing) on Monday," Bradshaw said. "I'm just so happy to be out here with the team. I'm able to get some camaraderie with the (offensive) line and the quarterbacks. And just to be out here putting the playbook on the field is great."
Diehards Line:
Bradshaw anticipates he'll have to gain another level of medical clearance before training camp, which will involve padded practices and contact. For now, the Colts, like all NFL teams, are limited to non-padded practices and no contact. But this is still a big deal for Bradshaw, who has struggled with foot injuries the past two offseasons. Those injuries prevented him from participating in OTAs. "I feel a lot fresher," he said. "I went through a lot of foot injuries and surgeries, so just to be able to actually train at this time of year, I haven't been able to do that the last couple of years. It feels good to be running around at this time of year and I'm feeling faster right now." Encouraging news; Bradshaw is going to offer fantasy football owners considerable value if he’s able to return at full speed this season.
