The Facts: After a scary few minutes that saw Jackson on the ground stretching his hamstring, the prized free agent signee said his hamstring was fine. "It's just a little tight," Jackson said after OTAs about his hamstring. "It's not no big issue."
Diehards Line:
Jackson grabbed at his left leg after a deep fly route that fell incomplete during Redskins organized team activities on Thursday. After getting back towards the line of scrimmage, Jackson went to the ground while trainers helped worked on the hamstring. Redskins medical staff later applied an ice pack to the upper left leg. Asked about Jackson's injury, Redskins coach Jay Gruden called it a slight pull, and added, "that happens to receivers." Nobody around Redskins Park seemed even slightly worried about Jackson, and the receiver gave the thumbs up sign as he walked towards the parking lot to leave. ... For what it's worth, CSNWashington reports that Jackson impressed in practice. Not that he has much to prove to fantasy football owners.
