The Facts: Ingram was unsure Tuesday if the team would pick up his fifth-year option as his contract is set to expire after the 2014 season. HC Sean Payton didn't make the team's intentions any clearer Wednesday. "We've got time to do all of that. So there's nothing we've decided permanently with that," Payton said.

The Saints have until May 3 to exercise the option for Ingram, which would cost reportedly $5.2 million in base salary in 2015. The Saints are able to offer Ingram a fifth-year option as part of the current collective bargaining agreement for 2011 first-round NFL draft picks. Ingram struggled with production and had a toe injury during the first half of the 2013 season. Then he came on strong near the end, rushing for 83 yards on 13 carries at Carolina in Week 16 and bowling his way to 97 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown in the NFC wild-card playoff win at Philadelphia.
