The Facts: With the 13th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Cardinals select Notre Dame's Floyd.
Diehards Line:Larry Fitzgerald gets his wish: A capable playmaker to work opposite the superstar. ... According to his NFL.com scouting report, Floyd has been a game changer at the collegiate level and possesses the size, aggressiveness and game experience to make a difference early in his transition to the NFL. Floyd has been an extremely productive deep threat, as well as a physical blocker and a reliable third-down playmaker. The fact he doesn't have game-breaking speed as a deep threat might not be as big an issue working opposite Fitzgerald. Prior injuries along with various off-field issues have been mentioned as possible knocks against Floyd, but a strong mentor like Fitzgerald will also help with the latter. One worry now? The Cardinals don't necessarily have the kind of playmaker at QB to keep two high-end wideouts happy.
