The team's star receiver will be an unrestricted free agent next month — and with the Chargers highly unlikely to apply the franchise tag in this instance, Jackson will hit the open market. As Bair notes, the price will be dictate whether the Chargers bring Jackson as they hope to, but Smith said earlier this week that past problems with Jackson will not.
