The former Arizona Cardinal is entering his fifth NFL season and 45 passes for 446 yards and four touchdowns in his four NFL seasons. So clearly the 6-3, 264-pounder isn't as accomplished a receiver as Boss is. Patrick also was suspended for four games in 2009 for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. ... Hard to consider Patrick an upgrade over Boss, but the latter has been a bit more fragile than hoped.
