The Facts: Young should still be a Titan if and when a work stoppage hits in March. Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt says, however, that other teams have showed some interest in Young. “We have had some discussions. But nothing is imminent with him. There is some [interest], but it is hard, though,” Reinfeldt told Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.
Diehards Line:As PFT's Gregg Rosenthal suggested, it will be impossible to move Young before March 4, and it may be close to impossible afterwards. Young is due a $4.25 million bonus on the 10th day of the new league year, whenever that comes. Per Rosenthal, no team will be willing to pay that bonus. And why would they? After all, the Titans have made it clear they intend to release Young if they aren't able to trade him. No need to give up draft choices when you're just as likely to get a shot at bidding without giving up additional compensation.
