Brandon Marshall Visits Dolphins Complex
(4/29 12:13 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on an ongoing story. ... Marshall visited the team complex Friday less than a week after his wife was charged with stabbing him with a kitchen knife. Marshall was briefly hospitalized after being stabbed in the abdomen and is expected to fully recover. He spoke by phone with general manager Jeff Ireland on Thursday. Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
“I did talk to Brandon [Thursday],” Ireland said. “I just reached out to him because I was able to, and we’re going to probably talk tomorrow a little bit, but right now I know enough to be dangerous I guess you could say. We’re going to continue to follow that situation, but until I get a chance to really sit down and talk to him face to face I’m not going to jump to any conclusions.” Marshall was among more than a dozen Dolphins at headquarters after a federal judge declared the NFL lockout illegal and the league lifted restrictions on team contact with players. Marshall's wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon last week. She told officers she was defending herself, according to an arrest report. ... As Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio notes, the stakes are fairly high on this one. The Dolphins can trade or cut Marshall and avoid at least $12 million and as much as $15 million in guaranteed money over the next two years.
