The Rams add a tight end despite what appears to be an ample supply of young talent already on the roster in Michael Hoomanawanui and Fendi Onobun among others. ... According to his NFL.com scouting report, Kendricks is an interesting prospect because the H-Back/Tight End hybrid has become a valuable commodity in today's NFL. He was very productive as a senior and he possesses the speed and athleticism to be a weapon down the seam at the next level. His size prevents him from being an in-line blocker, but he should be able to contribute as a situational receiving tight end in the spread -- especially in new OC Josh McDaniels' offense.
