The Lions cut ties with veteran Kevin Smith and have all but written off speedy but unproductive Aaron Brown. That leaves second-year man Jahvid Best and veteran Maurice Morris. The Lions would love to find a big, power back to complement Best. Mission accomplished. According to his NFL.com scouting report, Leshoure has the size, athleticism and competitiveness to develop into an every-down back. Possesses the power to break tackles, push the pile and find the end zone near the goal line -- a definite need for the Lions.
