Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
OL coach Mike Tice spent a good portion of last season trying to figure out who the Bears' best five were. After he did, the line showed improvement but was never better than mediocre. Additional young talent was a must. Jay Cutler was sacked 52 times in 15 games last season, more than anyone in the NFL. According to his
NFL.com scouting report, Carimi was the 2010 Outland Trophy winner as the best interior lineman in college football, and it appears likely that he will have continued success at the next level. Carimi is simply a "bad man" who looks to punish DEs on every play. Like all tall linemen, Carimi struggles at times with leverage and may have to make the move to right tackle in the NFL. Overall, Carimi is a beast who should fit right in with the Bears.
