End Brett Keisel will be 33 at the start of the season, end Aaron Smith is 35 and nose tackle Casey Hampton turns 34 (his longtime backup Chris Hoke is 35). According to his NFL.com scouting report, Heyward is big, versatile DE who can play in a 4-3 or a 3-4 at the next level. His greatest asset is his versatility, as he can control blockers to be effective in a two-gap scheme, but also could have an impact as a traditional defensive end in a 4-3.
