Following up on a previous item. ... The New Orleans Saints have placed RB Jamaal Williams on Injured Reserve and elevated S Johnathan Abram and DB Cameron Dantzler Sr.from the practice squad to the active roster.

As previously noted, Kendre Miller and Tony Jones Jr. will handle the backfield duties in Williams' absence. Alvin Kamara is eligible to return from suspension next week.
