Seattle Radio station KJR-AM is reporting that Alexander has been told that the Seahawks will release him today.

The team hasn't confirmed the move, but it wouldn't be surprising. Alexander had a physical today. The Seahawks have not been given the results of his physical. As we reminded you in
last weekend's Fantasy Notebook, Alexander's fate with the team was pretty much sealed when running backs Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett were signed in free agency. Once he's proclaimed healthy, all involved expect his release. Stay tuned.
