The Facts:
There has been trade talk involving Williams for weeks. But HC Rod Marinelli has denied the Lions will trade Williams -- strongly and repeatedly. But the talk persists. So, at the Lions' pre-draft news conference today, GM Matt Millen was asked if there was any way the Lions would trade Williams. He just laughed. Seated next to Millen, Marinelli said: "Don't even ask me." Asked if that meant no, Millen continued to laugh and said: "That thing is brutal."

In case you missed it, Eagles radio analyst Mike Quick says there will be news on Williams before the week is out. The report went on to suggest that Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington were all making an effort to land Williams. ... We shall see.
