Two seasons after being the NFL's MVP, Alexander is looking for work. The Seahawks released the franchise's all-time leading rusher on Tuesday, reports NFL Network's Adam Schefter. Reported by NFL.com

There has been talk of the Seahawks cutting ties with Alexander since the team signed running backs Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett in free agency last month. ... Alexander immediately becomes an unrestricted free agent who can sign with any team interested.
