Continuing to add parts to their roster that will potentially offer them more flexibility in the draft, the Patriots reached a contract agreement with Pollard today, according to a league source.

The 36-year-old Pollard enters his 14th season in 2008. He caught 28 passes for 273 yards and 2 touchdowns last season, in his lone year with the Seahawks. He previously played for the Colts and Lions. Pollard joins a tight end group that includes Benjamin Watson, David Thomas and Stephen Spach.
