Following up on previous items. ... In the most bizarre off-season injury to date, Marshall said he slipped on a McDonalds bag and wound up with his arm wrapped in a cast. "I want to thank everybody for their concerns and let everyone know that I'm okay," Marshall wrote in a text message Sunday morning. Marshall's right arm now will be in a cast for two weeks and he received stitches in his arm, but he did not know how many. What he did know was that he was embarrassed.

That's understandable. One of the league's most physical players was toppled by a plastic bag. "It's funny because I pride myself on YAC (yards after catch) and being one of the toughest players to take down once I have the ball in my hands," Marshall told NFL Network insider Adam Schefter. "So for the next couple of days I'm going to take the time to build my confidence back up after allowing that McDonalds bag to take me down. ..." According to Schefter, Marshall is scheduled to arrive in Denver on Sunday and will be at the Broncos training complex tomorrow. He will be, at best, limited for the start of the Broncos off-season conditioning program. At this point, however, there's no reason to believe the injury will be a problem down the road.
