Following up on a previous item. ... Marshall had 102 receptions in his second season with the Broncos last year. He might have trouble holding on to the ball today after he received stitches in an arm during a fall while vacationing in Orlando, Fla. A Broncos source who spoke to Marshall said there was no altercation and that the injury was the result of an accident.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Marshall’s injury occurred when he slipped on a McDonald’s bag, stuck out his hand to brace his fall and put it through a television entertainment center. Marshall advised Schefter Sunday morning his arm will be in a cast for two weeks -- and that he doesn’t know how many stitches are under it. ... Although this injury may impede Marshall from fully participating in the Broncos' off-season workout program that begins Monday, Post staffer Mike Klis reports that Marshall should be fully recovered by training camp in late-July.
