Following up on an ongoing story. ... According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, the injuries Marshall suffered to his arm in an accident at home were much worse than first stated. Schefter added that Marshall needed surgery to repair a severed artery, vein and nerves in his right forearm. He also cut five mucles and a tendon. Marshall will not be ready for football-related activities for three months.

Schefter went on to advise Total Access viewers that Marshall will remain in a cast for two more weeks and then wear a splint for four more weeks. ...
