Laveranues Coles Reports For Off-Season Workouts
(3/24 11:56 PT)

The Facts:
Coles, who ripped the club last month for "lying" to him about a contract extension, ended his one-week protest by reporting today to the voluntary off-season conditioning program, according to a team spokesman. Reported by the New York Daily News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Presumably, Coles' appearance means his situation has been resolved, although Daily News staffer Rich Cimini advised readers it couldn't be immediately confirmed that he has a new contract. Coles has two years, $11 million remaining on his current deal. The Jets offered to guarantee the $11 million, an unusual step to make him happy, but Coles wanted a long-term extension.
