Rosenhaus: Five Teams Interested In Terrell Owens
(7/19 6:49 PT)

The Facts:
Owens remains unsigned but that might change soon, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus texted ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that he was "very confident" that Owens, who played for the Buffalo Bills last season, will have a new team "within the next few weeks." Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In an appearance on ESPN's "NFL Live" last week, Rosenhaus said five teams were interested in Owens. However, the San Diego Chargers aren't one of them, despite Vincent Jackson being suspended three games by the NFL and threatening to hold out over his contact situation. "We're all set right now with our receivers," GM A.J. Smith said. You can also scratch Seattle off the list with HC Pete Carroll expressing disinterest. The Redskins have also made it clear they're not interested. Of course, as Profootballtalk.com suggested, the fact Rosenhaus won't name the five teams that are interested might be because there aren't really five teams interested. In fact, there's no direct evidence anybody is interested. Yet. We believe Owens will wind up on a roster before Week 1 but it certainly doesn't look like anything is imminent.
