The Facts:
Johnson, who rushed for more than 2,000 yards in only his second NFL season, has high hopes for 2010. The star halfback recently told the Sporting News he wants to run for 2,500 yards, which would obliterate the current single-season record, set by Eric Dickerson more than a quarter-century ago.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Nothing the matter with a fellow setting the bar high -- as long as he gives himself a chance to reach the goal. In Johnson's case, that will require him to get past his current contract dispute with the Titans and report to camp in a timely enough manner to prepare for the upcoming season. The good news? As we've reported in previous items, it appears the two sides will be able to come to an agreement on a short-term raise sufficient to get Johnson on the field during training camp and well in advance of the regular season. ... Stay tuned. We'll obviously continue to follow up on Johnson's contract as needed.
