The Facts:
Wes Welker joined Fox Sports Radio with Hartman and Friends to talk about a number of topics. Of most interest, of course, is how healthy his knee is. Asked specifically about his recovery, Welker told listeners: “It is doing well kind of plugging along getting in more of a training mode than a rehab mode. It has been going good so far, taking it a day at a time.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In case you haven't been following along, Welker's tore his ACL in the Patriots final regular-season game and then underwent reconstructive surgery on February 2. He's made remarkable progress since -- enough to lead many observers to speculate the diminutive wideout could be ready for Week 1. We're still skeptical and will need to see more before we buy into such a speedy recovery. Needless to say, we'll be watching Welker's progress closely throughout the summer.
