Brett Favre Continues To Hint At Return
(7/14 12:43 PT)

The Facts:
We've consistently heard that the Vikings believe Favre will play two more years. For now, it's becoming more and more clear that he'll spend at least one more season in the NFL. In an interview with Men's Journal (via Sean Leahy of USA Today), Favre addresses the question of whether playing at age 40-going-on-41 will cause long-term damage to his body. "Playing another year probably isn't going to make a difference," Favre said. "The damage has already been done." Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Mike Florio notes, unlike 2008 and 2009, when he retired and then unretired, Favre has not retired for a third straight time. He also recently underwent an ankle surgery that was reportedly necessary in order for the veteran signal caller to return. And of course, he continues to work out with local high school players much like he did before returning last year. ... Nonetheless, FarvreWatch 2010 continues -- albeit with a bit less intensity than 2009 -- until we get the official word. Stay tuned.
