Currently unemployed except for his VHI reality show that relaunched Sunday night, Owens is lobbying for a new NFL gig. Owens told the Associated Press that he proved last season that he won't be a distraction, citing the lack of drama surrounding him during his one year with the Buffalo Bills.

However, as NFP's Aaron Wilson pointed out, Owens was too quiet on the field, too, with unimpressive production. Owens claims that wasn't entirely his fault considering there was a coaching change and injuries on the offensive line and insists he's still an elite wide receiver. Despite reports to the contrary, Owens denied having unrealistic salary demands. If necessary, Owens said he'll wait until after training camp to sign with someone. We still believe that is the most likely outcome for T.O. and until he's on a roster and has a role his value is difficult to determine.
