The Facts:
Nothing is guaranteed, but it appears more and more likely that Sanchez will be ready to go before the start of training camp in August.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
HC Rex Ryan offered a progress report for the franchise QB, who underwent off-season arthroscopic knee surgery. The team will hold OTAs in May and June with a three-day mini-camp from June 14-16. Ryan would like to see Sanchez ready to go mid-June. “We’re certainly not going to rush him all the way back,” Ryan said during the second day of the team’s rookie mini-camp. “But he’s doing everything. He’s itching to go. ...” If Sanchez isn’t ready, the Jets will have plenty of opportunities to figure out his backup. Incumbent Kellen Clemens, Erik Ainge and Kevin O’Connell will all be in the mix for the No. 2 job.
