No Rush To Land Terrell Owens
(5/4 1:33 PT)

The Facts:
With safety Darren Sharper deciding to return to the Saints, the pool of big-name free agents is down to a handful of players. One of them is receiver Owens. Per a league source, it "could take some time" for Owens to sign a contract. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Per PFT's Mike Florio, the problem is that, while a number of teams are interested, the financial offers have not yet entered the ballpark that Owens deems to be acceptable. In March, John Czarnecki of FOX reported that T.O. wants at least $5 million per season. At this point, it would appear nobody is ready to foot that bill. Still, as Florio suggests, that could change in short order if a team's top receiver is injured at some point before or during training camp. In the meantime, however, nobody is in a rush to land T.O.
