The Facts:
Roethlisberger, who had been wearing a more traditional looking helmet, has switched to a Riddell Revolution Speed helmet that provides more head protection. He wore the helmet during his two spring practices April 19-20.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Roethlisberger missed a game in Baltimore last November because of concussion-like symptoms from a hit the previous game. ... Of course, he'll miss at least four games this fall for violating the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy -- which is apparently only one of his many, many issues, all of which are outlined in a Sports Illustrated cover story this week. You can read the online version
HERE -- and we recommend it (along with another SI.com piece examining the possibility that Big Ben's head injuries and bad behavior
might be connected). Given his apparent low standing in the city of Pittsburgh, adding a disguise to Roethlisberger's new headgear wouldn't be a bad idea.
