The Texans have signed Brown to a four-year, $10 million contract extension. Brown, who scored 124 points last season, will get $2.5 million guaranteed.

Brown conected on 29 of 33 field goals last year and made all 37 of his extra-point kicks as the Texans finished 8-8 for the second consecutive year. Given the potentially (certainly based on last year's third-best in the league status) potent offense he works with, Brown is a draftworthy placement man -- as long as you wait until the last two rounds to pick him.
