Todd Bouman has earned the Jaguars' backup quarterback spot with his offseason work. Such positions can be fluid through training camp and even during a season, but for now, Bouman is No. 2. This after the team announced that Cleo Lemon's contract was terminated on Wednesday.

Lemon saw action in just one game last season but was David Garrard's primary backup. Bouman spent a month with the Jaguars in 2007. He has played in 42 games with six starts as he heads into his 11th season. Meanwhile, the team added depth behind Bouman in the form of rookie Tood Boeckman. Paul Smith, undrafted out of Tulsa in 2008, is the other quarterback on the roster.
