The Facts:
Favre threw passes to receivers at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Miss., but he still isn't satisfied with the state of his arm. "I threw the ball OK, but OK is not good enough for the National Football League. At least it's not for me," Favre told NBC affiliate WDAM. "So it's got to get better."

During the offseason, Favre sometimes works out at Oak Grove, which is close to his home. "I enjoy being out here," Favre told the television station. "Whether I play or not, I enjoy being with the kids. It kind of keeps you young. ..." And it keeps you in the headlines, by golly. On a more serious note, Favre said the surgery was successful but wondered if his mechanics might change. He also noted that he had some soreness in areas he was not accustomed to. ... Stay tuned.
