Jay Cutler Satisfied With Current Wideouts?
(6/17 12:41 PT)

The Facts:
Cutler is ready to roll with the wide receivers he has on the roster right now. "I'm 100 percent comfortable [with the wide receivers]," Cutler said. "I think we added some depth with some younger guys and then some of the older veterans are stepping up and playing well. So I think we've got more than enough to compete." Reported by the Chicago Sun-Times

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Sun-Times staffer Brad Biggs suggested, it would have been difficult for the team's new QB to say anything else. Still, it's easy to link Cutler with his former teammate Brandon Marshall, who wants out of Denver, and Plaxico Burress, who has also been mentioned as a possible addition in Chicago. But Cutler wouldn't bite when asked about them. "I think we've got one," Cutler said when asked if the team had a No. 1 wide receiver. "I think we've got one in Devin [Hester], and I think Earl [Bennett] is going to be dangerous on the back side as well. ..." Hester and Bennett have worked almost exclusively as the starters in recent workouts. Neither can lay claim to the on-field accomplishments of Marshall or Burress. Fortunately, the same can be said off the field, too.
