Brandon Marshall Speaks... Says Little
(6/18 3:56 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Marshall, appearing at his two-day youth football camp in Denver, declined to answer questions about his status with the Broncos on Thursday, other than to say he and his agent are communicating with the team. Asked if he thought this youth football camp was his grand goodbye to the community, Marshall said nothing good lasts forever. “I think we saw this past year as far as change, as for changes in our front office. Coach [Mike] Shanahan being here 13 years. Gone! I think that’s part of life. You know it’s just change,” Marshall said. Reported by the Associated Press

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
An optimistic outlook on his part. ... As previously noted, Marshall has asked out of Denver and he believes owner Pat Bowlen will facilitate a trade. So much so that he wished Denver fans farewell on his web site. HC Josh McDaniels, meanwhile, clearly has other ideas. The coach told reporters earlier this week that he expects Marshall, who is coming off recent hip surgery, to report for training camp as usual. At this point, we still believe Marshall's overall lack of leverage is going to make it very hard to talk his way out of Denver. It certainly won't be as easy for him as it was for Jay Cutler. ... Whatever the case, the drama will continue.
