NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy has announced that commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended Stallworth indefinitely, without pay, in the wake of Tuesday’s guilty plea to felony DUI manslaughter. Per McCarthy, Goodell said that Stallworth has “caused irreparable harm to the victim and his family, your club, your fellow players and the NFL.”

Stallworth has been sentenced to 30 days of jail time and two years of house arrest/controlled custody. As PFT's Mike Florio suggests, it's possible that, like Falcons QB Mike Vick, Stallworth will remain on indefinite suspension until his full and complete term ends, including house arrest. ... The announcement almost certainly comes as no surprise to the Brown, who two receivers -- Brian Robiskie, who is expected to compete for the No. 2 spot, and Mohamed Massaquoi -- in the second round.
