The Facts:
In a blog entry posted on his official web site, Marshall offered fans the following: "To whom it may concern. Life is filled with change, and where I am in my life now change is probably best. It’s hard leaving an organization ran by one of the best owners in all of sports, and someone who’s been there for me through my ups and downs. The hardest thing was hearing [owner Pat Bowlen] wish me luck in the future, but we both came to the conclusion that this is probably the best thing for me to grow on and off the field."

Marshall, apparently blissfully unaware of the team's actual stance -- HC Josh McDaniels told reporters the team expected the disgruntled wideout
to report for the start of training camp -- added: "I thank the Denver fans who embraced my emotion and play on the field and showing me love every time I step outside my door. ..." Good grief. One more time: The Broncos don't seem to share in Marshall's and his agent Kennard McGuire's belief that Bowlen is prepared to grant their trade request. Stay tuned. This can only get more interesting.
