Ravens Willing To Consider Plaxico Burress
(1/18 9:48 PT)

The Facts:
The Ravens would consider looking at Burress to help their passing game, HC John Harbaugh told reporters Monday. "I don't know Plaxico Burress at all, I've never met him, but we'd consider him," Harbaugh said. "We'd consider anybody. It just depends on where he's at. I'd like to find out what kind of person he is, to see where he's really at in his life." Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Ravens, who suffered through a series of receiver blunders during Saturday's 31-24 AFC Divisional Playoff loss to the Steelers, gave Donte' Stallworth his second chance this season after he served 24 days in jail on DUI manslaughter charges. Burress is set to be released from jail in June following a two-year sentence for carrying an unregistered gun that went off and wounded his leg at a nightclub. Burress was the Giants' leading receiver from 2005 to 2007 with 209 catches for 3,227 yards and 29 touchdowns. In nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Giants, Burress had 505 receptions for 7,845 yards with 55 touchdowns.
